CHASE RAISING INTEREST RATES

You know what I see mostly on this post...Good credit worthy individuals being turned down for credit or when the individual does use credit, he or she is forced to pay higher rates. I myself just got a notice, where my 7.24% rate shot up to 11.24%...The ironic thing is that most of the individuals posting on this post have other choices. These banks are cutting their own throats. Chase has made a lot of money off me, I pay on time every month, I sometimes carry a high balance and I sometimes carry a moderate balance. There are other options for most of us. I myself have a credit union which offers a 9.99% fixed rate. I'm going to pay my Chase balance down and start using my Credit Union Visa. My credit union has also offered me an installment loan...I heard installment loans actually help your credit score. So who needs them stinking credit cards anyway. But, I will tell us this and I think the sentiment is universal...I will never do business again with Chase. I called to see if they would lower my rate and they told me no. I told the lady I'll waive at you when I see you in the unemployment line. Have a nice day. I'll be jumping for joy when I see all the executive at Chase in the unemployment line too. Now wouldn't that be a site to see. Use you other options folks, we do have them. One word of caution though...be careful closing your accounts this impacts your credit score. I really recommend the book Road to 850, there is a lot of information for keeping a good credit score. It's available through Amazon....and no, I'm not associated with the book in anyway.
